Trama:
Un’interessante intervista viene fatta a Nonna Maddie, una
vecchietta con un’intrigante storia sulla propria giovinezza che ha scelto di
fare l’intervista nella vaga speranza di ritrovare una vecchia amica che è
sparita prima del suo diciottesimo compleanno. Maria Smith, la più bella, dolce
e buona ragazza esistente che Maddie tuttora vuole vedere, vuole sapere sia
viva e che nessuno l’abbia ferita. Attraverso ciò che Maddie dice, l’intervista
porta fuori molti dettagli contradditori che fanno immediatamente notare come
questa Maria sia probabilmente qualcuno che non esiste nella maniera che tutti
pensavano esistesse…
