Trama:
Una famiglia non è definita dal sangue e avere sangue in comune non ti rende una famiglia. Enfys è una licantropa purosangue che ha sofferto molto crescendo e assumendo il ruolo di Alpha prima di chiunque altro nella storia del loro mondo. Suo padre era uscito di testa e aveva ucciso parecchi del proprio branco quando lei aveva meno di cinque anni e sua madre era diventata un disco rotto che l’accusava di essere la causa per cui il padre le aveva abbandonate spingendo il ruolo di Alpha sulla giovane lupa. A causa del tradimento del padre di lei, della malattia della madre e la necessità di prendere una pausa, Enfys si trasferisce momentaneamente in una villa in un villaggio sperduto nei boschi dove incontrerà persone che cambieranno la sua vita per sempre. Tra esse ci sarà Monique che le mostrerà che cos’è la vera amicizia, Christine che le mostrerà com’è una vera madre e Wolfe che le mostrerà che ancora poteva sperare nell’amore. Tre umani che vengono coinvolti in un mondo pieno di segreti, mistero e che troveranno la loro vita sotto sopra ma lo stesso lotteranno per aiutarla a risolvere i problemi che i passati Alpha hanno lasciato. Uno di questi sarà la paura di Enfys di prendere forma di lupo e di mostrarsi vulnerabile con chi la ama. Mentre un gruppo di cacciatori prova a uccidere con un siero che rende pazze le razze sovrannaturali, potranno avere la tanto desiderata calma che cercano da anni?
